Somali Women Vision (SWV) is seeking a qualified and experienced training facilitator to design and deliver a training on Security and Protection Measures for Activists. The training aims to strengthen activists’ knowledge and practical skills on personal, digital, and organizational security in challenging environments.
Scope of the Training
The facilitator will be expected to:
- Develop a context-appropriate training curriculum and materials
- Facilitate interactive sessions on security and protection measures for activists
- Cover topics such as risk assessment, personal safety, digital security, and protection strategies
- Provide practical tools and guidance applicable to activists’ work
Required Qualifications and Experience
Interested facilitators should have:
- Proven experience facilitating trainings on security, protection, human rights, or related fields
- Strong understanding of the security challenges faced by activists, particularly women activists
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and participatory training skills
- Experience working with civil society organizations is an added advantage
