Mercy-USA for Aid and Development (Mercy-USA) is a Non-Profit making organization, dedicated to alleviating human suffering and supporting individuals and their communities in their efforts to become more self-sufficient. Incorporated in the State of Michigan in 1988, Mercy -USA’s projects focus on improving health, nutrition and access to safe water and as well as promoting economic and educational growth around the world.

Mercy-USA Somalia Program has been implementing a seasonal Ramadan project funded by its headquarters in the USA, aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of vulnerable families in Somalia during the month of Ramadan.

Mercy-USA Somalia program hereby invites qualified bids for implementation of the following activities of Purchase and distribution of ramadan2025 food packs in KAHDA DISTRICT- Mogadishu (XAQDHOWR IDP CAMP)

Requirements for Tender Documents

1. Validity of the Quotation once submitted: 14days from the day of submission
2. Quotation/Bid Deadline date: 22nd February 2025 at 3pm
3. Delivery Date: 25th-27th February 2025
4. Delivery Location: Mogadishu, KAHDA DISTRICT (XAQDHOWR IDP CAMP)
5. Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place)
6. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address including email address, phone number and copy of identification document of passport or ID of the company management representatives
7. Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.
8. Transaction bank: Dahabshill bank Account
9. Valid Commercial License from relevant federal government ministry and Banadir administration
10. Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance Federal Government of Somalia
11. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work – (Dry food supply, foods packs etc) – LPOs/Contracts, etc.
12. Currency: US Dollars.
13. Payments terms: 100% payment after successful delivery and payment will be made within 1 month of delivery of items
14. Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.
15. Language: English.
16. Bids: Bids should be submitted on the RFQ signed and fully stamped.
17. Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the

bid will be evaluated.

1. Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract as per Mercy-USA East Africa program General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.

Hard copies will also be available and can be collected from the Procurement Department at the Mercy-USA Somalia Country Office, located at Jaale Siyaad Rd, Airport Sea View, near Peace Hotel and SODMA Office, Mogadishu.

Interested and eligible contractors with proven capacity and relevant experience in similar work are hereby invited to request or collect the tender documents from the above address between 19th February 2025 and 22nd February 2025. The tender will close on 22nd February 2025 at 3:00 PM.
