Invitation to Bid (ITB):
The Kismayo District Council invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified companies for the works
below. This procurement is financed under the Dowlad Kaab Program, UNICEF.
Scope of Work:
The scope also includes the provision of labor, materials, equipment, transportation, quality control
testing, site safety measures, and environmental protection activities. The contractor shall ensure that
all works are executed in accordance with the approved drawings, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), technical
specifications, Kismayo District.
Availability of Bidding Documents:
Bidding Documents are available at the Procurement Office, Kismayo District Office at a nonrefundable fee of USD 20 per set. An official receipt will be issued. Bidders must attach a copy of the
receipt to their bid.
Key Dates (EAT):
• Issue date: 30 July 2026
• Bid submission deadline: 12:00 PM, 12th August 2026
• Bid opening: Immediately after the submission deadline, in the presence of bidders’
representatives who choose to attend, at the Kismayo District meeting hall.
