Islamic Relief Somalia is an international humanitarian organization that has been working in Puntland since 2006. We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.
Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing the Aqeeqa2024 seasonal project which aims helping livelihood enhancement of vulnerable families in Puntland.
Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites qualified bids for implementation of the following activities:

Procurement and purchase of shoats (Goats/Sheep) to be mixed goats and sheep (60% goats 40% sheep) but 100% shall be Male animals, of above 16kgs flesh meat, (after head and stomach removed) with all other associated works including security slaughtering, slaughtering fees, skinning, packaging and transportation to the site of distribution as above. Supplier is responsible for all inspection from Ministry of Livestock within slaughtering house plus all other charges pertaining to the service provision. The distribution sites include: (Garowe town -602 animals), (Burtinle – 273 animals), (Godabjiran-250 animals), & (Qardho – 453 animals). | Animals | 1,578 |

Requirements for Tender Documents

- Delivery Location: Garowe, Burtinle, Godobjiran and Qardho
- Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place)
- Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
- Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.
- Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce.
- Tender Board Registration.
- Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance.
- Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work
- g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.).
- Currency: US Dollars.
- Payments: All the faces of the (contracted) payments shall be made after 3 months from the time of completion of the task being contracted.
- Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.
- Language: English.
- Bids: Bids should be submitted on the IRS RFQ signed and fully stamped.
- Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated.
- Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.

Interested suppliers with the capacity to deliver are invited to submit their documents to Islamic Relief Garowe office in two separate SEALED envelopes clearly marked with quotation reference number.
Tender Duration and Deadline
Tender document with detail specification and terms and conditions will be at logistic unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office. The deadline for submitting bids is 09th June, 2024 (04:00 PM). and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted.
