Introduction
The SRCS Galkayo branch is pleased to announce a significant initiative aimed at enhancing public safety and infrastructure in the Fardoharis community in Galkayo district through the installation of 20 solar-powered streetlights. This project is designed to address the critical lack of electricity in Fardoharis, a village located in the Mudug Region. The absence of adequate lighting has left the community vulnerable to various risks, including animal attacks, gender-based violence, and limited opportunities for evening activities.
By installing these solar-powered streetlights, SRCS aims to improve security and foster a safer environment for residents, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life in the community. The initiative reflects our commitment to sustainable development and the empowerment of vulnerable communities.
To facilitate this project, SRCS invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the provision and installation of the solar-powered streetlights. Interested contractors are encouraged to obtain the bid documents from the SRCS Galkayo Branch, available from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, starting on October 26, 2024. The tender submission deadline is November 9, 2024, at 2.00pm EAT
Please note that SRCS will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by bidders during the bid preparation process. It is the responsibility of bidders to ensure the timely submission of their proposals, adhering to the instructions provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP). We look forward to partnering with dedicated contractors to bring this vital project to fruition.
