The Education Access and Quality Improvement Program (EAQIP)-Waxbarashadu Waa Iftiin (WWI) IV- Education is Light (EIL-IV) project is a 3-year EU funded initiative which was approved on 13 June 2022 and will end on 12 June 2025. The overall objective of EAQIP under the wider Somalia Education Sector Support Programme (SESSP) funded by the European Union (EU) is “Improve the educational attainment and employability of the relevant target groups” and the specific objective is “The governance, quality, relevance and inclusiveness of education and training sector are improved” The overall and specific objectives will be realized through three results: (Result 1:) increased access to inclusive and equitable quality education at primary and secondary levels; (Result 2:) increased inclusive participation of youth and adults in quality technical and vocational education; training linked to employment and economic opportunities; and (Result 3:) enhanced capacity of public institutions to lead, monitor, and manage the education system.
With this donor funding support; MoE&HE is hereby inviting all interested eligible bidders with previous experience and capacity to print and supply 40,300 prescriped secondary school text books. The delivery location is the headquarter of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) of Puntland in Garowe. MoEHE will evaluate the responses to determine which bidder’s offer meets its requirements.

Tender Submissions Process
This tender process will be conducted using MoE&HE’s sealed tender process, and it is open for all interested and qualified contractors/suppliers.
Required documents for evaluation
- Updated Company profile
- Valid Certificate Business (Commerce Ministry)
- Tax Clearance from Ministry of Finance
- Registration Certificate from Puntland tender Board (QR Code supported)
- Prove/Evidence of experience for similar works preferably Textbook Printing
- Proof of financial capacity such as a bank statement (valid/stamped, enough to implement the project, and has been active for the last six months)

All completed tender documents must be deposited in a sealed envelope in the tender box located in the above address. The bidders registered name and the bid tittle should be clearly marked in the envelope. Bids should be enclosed in an ENVELOPE and clearly marked – (Prting of 40,300 Text books) and not later than Friday, 22nd Dec 2023 at 2:00 pm.
Tenders with insufficient/partial information and those received after the closing date mentioned in the tender advertisement will be considered invalid.
